What We Teach
At Goh's Kung Fu we have three different types of classes:
Traditional Kung Fu
Our traditional kung fu program includes a series of forms and fighting
techniques developed by Sifu Anthony Goh during his training in Malaysia and
here in the USA. This is our main curriculum where we encourage those with no
martial arts experience to participate. Students of this curriculum will
learn a traditional system of forms as well as develop their skills as a fighter
with light to medium contact sparring.
Contemporary Wushu
Contemporary Wushu is an up and coming sport developed in China. It has a
standardized ruleset for performance based competitions. Contemporary Wushu is
a very quick and explosive style that will push your body to the limits.
Students of contemporary wushu will learn all the necessary rules and difficulty
movements to help them succeed in the international competitive arena.
Taiji / Tai Chi
Taiji is a meditative internal style where the martial aspect
of the art is still maintained but without the high impact and speed . While
it looks easy from the outside any taiji student will tell you otherwise. Taiji
requires leg strength, balance, coordination and patience. Our
taiji program teaches the standardized form set developed in Beijing.
